Sunshine is an Indigenous educator and resistance artist from the Karankawa Hawk Clan. As an Indigenous Educator at a Health and Wellness Resort, she is inspired by Karankawa spirituality to help others reconnect with the natural world, dismantle harmful colonial rhetoric, and find inner peace with Mother Earth. Sunshine has served as a junior council member on the Five Rivers Council, organized protests, advocated for repatriation, reparations, and human rights, and has offered classes and lectures across Austin, TX. Her recent focus is to inspire resistance, decolonization, and education through her art and lectures.
